Το δεύτερο, όπως είχε γράψει ο Κώστας πριν μερικά χρόνια: "υπάρχει επαφή μέσα στην περιοχή ή δεν υπάρχει;". Τον έσπρωξε όσο χρειαζόταν για να πέσει, πράγμα εύκολο σε εκείνη τη φάση. Hades Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 το οτι σπρωχνεται η Γιουναιτεντ και εχει την ευνοια της διαιτησιας ολα αυτα τα χρονια οπου χρειαζοταν, ειναι γνωστο. κοκκινες, πεναλτυ, γκολ οφφσαιντ, απο ολα ειχε το μενου. τωρα το τι λετε εσεις, δεν αλλαζει κατι στη φιλαθλη συνειδηση. αλλο το πεναλτυ που κερδιζεις στο 90 για παραδειγμα με το σκορ 3-0 υπερ/κατα σου (που δε διαμορφωνει αποτελεσμα) και αλλο το πεναλτυ μαιμου που κερδιζεις στο 90 στο 0-0 και παιρνεις το ματς. The absolute truth is that I would have done if they were obvious, and given that United actually should have had five given against them on Sunday Mark Clattenburg was not 'brave' to award them - he was merely correct. The difference at Old Trafford now is that referees arrive with the knowledge that Sir Alex Ferguson is no longer present; he is not waiting in the tunnel to rip into you for daring to award the opposition a penalty, nor is he going to charge into your dressing room with the ‘hairdryer’ on full blast, incandescent with rage at your audacity to do your job. At this moment – nor is David Moyes. When I travelled to Old Trafford to referee Manchester United, which I did on 30 occasions, I was well aware of the ‘Fergie factor’. If I gave a ‘soft’ decision against them or did not add enough time on (according to Ferguson) then I knew he would let me know, in no uncertain times, that I had erred. In the early days I must concede that probably affected me and in 1995 when he charged into my dressing room and blasted me I understood just how ferocious the ‘hairdryer’ could be. Ferguson’s Glaswegian accent added some menace to his comments which were controlled and pointed rather than loud rants when delivered in the tunnel.(re to marinaki) However, if he was really angry, and this only happened on one occasion with me, he would certainly shout and berate you like a schoolmaster with a pupil. His language was often colourful but, if this is possible, it seemed appropriate in a strange way and certainly not worth reporting. He knew that you couldn’t change the decisions from the game but wanted you to know what to expect on your next visit. The way I decided to cope with this was to raise my tolerance level where penalties were concerned. If I couldn’t give anything but a ‘nailed-on’ spot kick to the opponents then the same had to apply to the home team. As a result I gave very few and the last one was to fierce rivals Arsenal – which they missed! Ferguson recognised this in my game and in a quieter moment said that he expected nothing whenever I went to Old Trafford. He felt that as they tended to attack more and therefore probably had more ‘soft’ penalty appeals I was effectively favouring the away team. I explained my rationale and added that it was caused largely by self-protection. There is another side to Ferguson’s stature within the game. If he complained and blamed me for a defeat or loss of points it would always be reported in the media. Despite popular belief I, like my colleagues now, never sought publicity nor wanted to appear in the papers or be the subject on radio phone-ins and therefore refereed slightly differently when I was at Old Trafford. Things have changed quite a lot for Manchester United this season which has affected everyone present. Teams turn up knowing they have a great chance of taking points, fans don’t expect to win every match and referees are no longer concerned about the home manager's reactions. David Moyes has not replaced Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho has – just look at the headlines after Chelsea’s defeat at Aston Villa. It was all about Mourinho and referee Chris Foy and not Chelsea losing. nedved21 Posted March 22, 2014 Share Posted March 22, 2014 Eγω πιστευω οτι πρεπει να φυγει ο Αρσεν. Οκ εκλεισε ο κυκλος του. Περασανε τα χρονια. 64 εγινε... Ενταξει σιγουρα στα τελευταια του ειναι. Αλλα σιγουρα εχει τη γνωση και την ικανοτητα να φτιαξει μια σοβαρη ομαδα και ισως να παρει και ενα πρωταθλημα. Απλα πρεπει να επενδυσουν αν θελουν να παει απο 3-4η για πρωταθλημα. Με οποιον προπονητη και να παρουν δηλαδη. Ουσιαστικα μετα απο τις μεταγραφες των Βιειρα, Πετιτ, Μπεργκαμπ, Οβερμαρς κλπ. Η αρσεναλ δεν εχει ριξει ποτε λεφτα επι βενγκερ. nedved21 Posted March 22, 2014 Share Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) Σιγουρα, αλλα ενταξει νομιζω οτι ξερει πως για να κτυπησει πρωταθλημα θελει λεφτα πλεον. Φετος πηγε να "χτυπησει" πρωταθλημα επειδη επαιζε καλα ο οζιλ στην αρχη και εκανε 2 καλα σερι νικων. Και ο οζιλ ήρθε με 40εκ λιρες κατι τετοιο. Λογικα θα παρει και το fa φετος.
